Daturas have been referred to as the most widely used hallucinogenic plants in the world. Unconscious experimentation has earned them a bad reputation though they have an incredible history of rich medicinal use. Distinguished from Brugmansias in that their flowers extend upwards rather then being pendulous. Contrary to popular belief, there is no tree datura.

Datura stramonium - Jimson Weed - Thornapple
Widespread annual bush known for its spiny seedpods and toxic seed. This plant has a legendary reputation for healing asthmatic & bronchial conditions as well as for producing toxic hallucinations.
