Steam Inhalation Therapy ~ For Sinus Congestion, Throat Or Lung Illness 
Add 1 teaspoon of essential oil (we recommend eucalyptus or tea tree) to a cold mist humidifier or vaporizer.  Or  you can simply bring 2 cups of water to a boil, remove pot from the stove, and add 1/2 teaspoon eucalyptus or tea tree essential oil.  Now, put your head over the pot, cover your head with a towel, and inhale the steam.  Do this for 5 - 10 minutes, coming up for air periodically.

Eucalyptus ~ Eucalyptus globulus ~ a powerful, germicidal aromatic oil that is very penetrating.  It alleviates congestion making it easier to breathe.  A traditional remedy for asthma, bronchitis, colds, flu, sinus & throat infections. It aids the whole breathing process and helps regenerate lung tissue.  Cooling to the body, and is currently used for fever accompanying infectious illness.  It is refreshing and stimulating, and said to increase concentration and intellect.

Tea Tree ~ Melaleuca alternifolia ~ This is the oil of a rare and unusual tree growing along Australia's northeast coast. It is composed of 48 unique organic compounds that work synergistically to produce an essential oil that has both antiseptic and fungicidal properties.  Tea Tree is effectively used in treatment of the nasal and sinus passages, and for throat and chest conditions.  Or you can add 10 drops of pure oil to a hot bath for muscle and joint discomfort.  It is also utilized for skin ailments such as boils, cuts, tropical ulcers or coral cuts, minor burns, and insect stings.
